Hairy and Scary Sunday
Well, I attended church this morning like every practicing catholic does. Sometimes, one does seem to actually start thinking, am I going to church out of obligation or do I love God Himself?
The climax of today was actually going for a haircut at Sungai Wang. Or so I thought. Bought some new school shoes simply because my mom did not want my sister and I to go to school looking like rag-a-muffins. Personally I would like very much to put that little phrase rag-a-muffins in a more Frank term: Poor Buggers/Blighters. But since I am neither Frank or brave enough to stand up to my mother when she cuffs me when I say those words (exaggerating..do not read what he types!) I do not say them. Just doing my part in respecting my mother's wishes.
Oh yeah, went to a CD shop to buy Pirates of the Carribean 2...do not ask me whether the CD is licensed or not. The picture quality was good though. That is what rewards await you if you wait for the movie to be released...say...minimum 1 month. But the drawback is, the movie will be sooo old by then. Still it was enjoyable and scary...(I am a sucker for cheap shots...) plus watching the movie made it to the top of the climatic list for today. Was it not great?!
Well, other than that..nothing that exciting...made new friends with a fish, a bulb of garlic ( I was never able to tell the difference until I was screamed at at the age of I think 10 for not being to differentiate garlic from onions. Oh yeah, not forgetting to add to my sob story of yells for not being to differentiate a fly from a mosquito...they still confuse me even now..and Kim has a good laugh over that...hope she is happy) and some ginger. My sis and I usually cook our own dinner most of the time. Mom thinks we are independant enough, which we are. Guess what? I can cook too...I do lotsa stuff around the house..but I try not to be boastful but I cannot. We, after all, should be proud about doing things that others cannot even attempt to do until later..haha...
