Departure
Hark. Today marks the traumatic departure of our honoured guest that I will never forget. Ok, that sounded fake.
I am saddened deeply by the departure of our new friend whom I have made good friends with for the past 3days. This sucks. Depression sets in. I always get depressed after these kind of events take place i.e. the saying of good byes. I hate good byes. This is the first and most hated...HATED thing in my life. To utter a good bye. Approximately 24 hours ago, we were running through Mid Valley in search of some stupid eggs and yoghurt drink for some little "race" organised by my (God's) church and now, he's somewhere in Kuala Lumpur and I do not know where. So near yet so far. They will probably be departing on Tuesday.
Picture this:
You go on a walk on the beach. You leave little foot imprints in the soft sand. Along comes a wave. It washes the print which gradually becomes level with the sand again.
That footprint in the soft sand represents the emptiness left when someone leaves. The wave represents time.
This certainly quite proves the saying that time and tide waits for no man. Either you overcome the loss or wallow in self pity.
Let me just recall their names for a last time.
Shuya Tsuchiya. Yuka Kimura. Michiro __, Tomo__,
hmmm...who else...gah! Those people are last standing Japanese names which I seem to recall only. The rest...forgotten.
"Those who put their hand on the plow and still look back are never fit for the Kingdom."
