The regrets of this superficial life...

Yes, I have finally finished reading The Game by Neil Strauss. Well, what seemed at first to be like an indispensable guide to seducing women has turned out to be filled with moral lessons. I really am grateful I have been given the chance to read this book by Wei. No doubt I wanted to read it because of its intriguing storyline (Jia Min and Keegan AND Ze Yen would have said for the 'hamsup' scenes...even though I have found little enjoyment reading them..pointless) and guess where it has brought me now.

Let me further attempt to shed some light ahead with this aged hurricane lamp.

1. Picking up girls is definitely not what life is all about. People think professional pickup artists are the kings of the world and have the best piece of life i.e. girls. I used to think about that too. Only to discover how shallow and phony that 'fact' is.
Reality check: We all want to be loved at some point or another by one who is sincere and cannot always have one-night-stands. One can only rely on porn to a certain extent. After that, fulfillment is no longer there. What remains is a hollow shell of what used to be us.

2. Life, cannot be rehearsed. You cannot say lines and lines (routines is what they call it in the book) over and over again without breaking up. What I mean is that pick up lines are only meant for cavemen with no other interests in life besides women and women and women. Try to be genuine when interacting with people. Ok, let me rephrase that. Be genuine, be yourself when socialising. No false fronts. Be brutal. Be honest. Like me. For further information on how one should feel, refer to point 1.

3. Being too fanatical on one thing in life could very well destroy oneself. Take for example, playing video games. Addiction. Another very good example which comes from this book is picking up girls. Same thing. Sarging is an addiction too.
"What about God??" you may say. Even though He said, "Love no other gods but me." it does not mean you should love Him in that sick twisted way as to kill all life forms He created by blowing yourselves up. If he wanted to destroy life, he would have sent the second flood (according to the Bible, there was a first flood, Noah and his family were the only humans left after that). Nothing is a problem with God. So if you really want a good spouse, I suggest you start praying for one and do something about it, not go 'sarging'.

With that, hopefully life will be more fulfilling for you. Never hesitate to ask for help.

Signing off,
Yours truly.
