only eight people....

Yesterday, the inauguration of a ceremony: The Prefects' Gathering of Sekolah Sri Garden. Theme of the evening: REACH FOR THE STARS (personally I find it to be quite...lame? sry dharma...still, no one had any good ideas so the head had to make an executive decision...lol)

How many people were present (you may ask) for that prestigious event?

Uh, two schools?

Wow. How many prefects came from the schools?

Um....ah...ehe...eight?

0.0?

=.="

Yes, the prefects' gathering yesterday was attended by only eight people. Still as Amanda says, the show must go on (something to that effect..). It's better to go ahead with the games instead of not having any at all. After the speeches the 2 head honchos aka Jamie and Puan Hasnah filed out of the hall in a dignified manner. All hell broke loose. Literally.

The Amazing Banana Race Part 2
So fellow SSG prefects joined in. I thought, why the stupid title? Then Dharma brought out the big guns. They did look like guns:bananananananananas. There were combs and combs and combs of them. Ok. That was amazing.
After that Amanda and I were left to fend for ourselves as the participants received their instructions and ran out of the hall.
Some clues were kinda screwed up and the GMs manning the stations did not even have pens. wth. But never the less, we had put up a good show. That was after the girls from SBU left. For tuition. They were going to tuition in their sports attire and foul (garlicy) breath. Disgusting. Thank God I did not play the game. Haha! The benefits of being an emcee. Hah!
Dharma and Nazeera sang Destiny during the performances after the race. I mean, belted out 'their version' of Destiny. The mike Dharma was having was screwy. Nazeera, fortunately was not trying too hard...lo.
Nik Shazarina became the Ice Queen she really was. She had flour all over her. Mugen became an old man. Sanjeev was dripping from a mixture of flour and water. All of them had bad breaths. Except the emcees.

Give the head and dep head some due credit. tks to jamie too.
End of Part1.

Part2.
Today's visit to the disabled home was not as bad as I had envisioned it to be. Too bad Ken Vin did not come. It was raining like crap by the time we got there. Bottomline was, I kinda realised I might been taking things too lightly and for granted thus far. Had fun talking to them anyway.
